How to build up a 700r4?

    What would u guys recommend doing to build up a 700r4??

    Shift Kit, Corvette Servos, and Most important a Transmission Cooler, but there are more in-depths in other posts just use the search and put in 700r4 and you will spend hours reading.

    There was a good article on building a 700 for crawling in 4Wheel&Off-road a while back. It was real expensive but interesting.

    I would not use a shift kit in a 700. IMHO it does them only harm. If your interested in a bullit proof build I can give you a number. It is not inexpencive to "build" one to last though. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    My build cost me about $2400 and that was them getting a K case core and building it up. I have had it for about 5 years now and NEVER had a problem relating to the trans. build up.
