I have been looking for a '70, '71, or a '72 K5 Blazer for the last 6 months. However, I have had no luck finding one that someone has already fixed up. Does anyone have any suggestions on a better way to find my new project? How did you all find yours?

It took me 4 months to find mine. Keep looking get all your local forsale books and news papers! One of thease weeks the one your looking for will pop up in an add and you will have a pocket full of money run over to it and snach it up before someone else does!!
    Good luck

You live in the land of Mercedes and BMW's. That's no place to look for a nice old K5! [IMG]

Seriously, you're only a days drive from Denver. Check out the classified ads at http://www.denverpost.com or http://www.gazette.com (The Colorado Springs paper). There's also a local "want ad" type paper in Colorado Springs called the Thrifty Nickel http://www.thenickel.com or if you want to search all of the Thrifty Nickel ads in the US, check out http://www.thriftynickel.com.

There's a really clean '72 Blazer at http://www.dealsonwheels.com but it's in Indianapolis and they're asking $10,500 for it. [IMG]
