how to install new ignition switch .. anyone know how???

    I need to replace my ignition switch.. it doesnt need a key to turn it...

    You gotta remove the steering wheel and lock plate. Inside there is a pin you remove, pull the old cylinder out and replace with the new. Its kind of hard lining up the cylinder with the ACC and other positions sometimes. It's not super difficult but it can be tricky.

    I've bought them at Pep Boys before. They run $12-18, depending on the year of the truck. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
