is this literally as simple as removing all the bolts on the "hub" of the axle and then sliding the shafts out? Are said bolts reverse thread or normal? I started to try to turn one... but didnt wanna use my big breaker bar unless I know I am turning em the right way. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

i am trying to do the weld-the-spiders mod... need the shafts out ASAP. thanks in advance!

Yep, too late for me to reply!! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Anyways, FYI, if anybody cares, those axle shaft bolts are 1/2" coarse thread, 1 1/4" long. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif (Just had to throw some more info in! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif)

after you get the bolts out, if the axle shaft doesn't want to just slide out hit the center of it with a big hammer and it will.

With preferrably a mallet of some sort. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I hate using a steel hammer on the shafts. Might make something weak or loose on the inside, such as the bearing nuts. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
