How weak is the 10-spline front output yoke on a NP205?

    I'm looking at picking up a 1350 yoke for the d60.
    I found a 1350 yoke for the 10-spline 205 for about $85.
    So then, I could run a 1350 driveshaft and not have to carry 1310 spares anymore.

    But then I get to thinking - just how strong is the 10-spline front output shaft? If something were to go, wouldn't it be that?

    Do ya'll think it's pointless to put a 1350 yoke on the 10-spline shaft?

    Where did you find a 1350 10 spline yoke for a 205?I just talked to spicer and they told me it doesnt exist.So I have to run a crossover joint.1310x1350 /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif


    Ive been running mine for 12years and never broken it.I have snaped the input shaft on my sm465.For the last three years with 160:1 crawl ratio.
