Actually it went great! We played some pool, drank some beer, and shot plenty of sh!t :) We planned our trip to the "Slab" for this sunday.. There are 4 K5's going on this trip.. should be a lot of fun because this will be my first. I will take plenty of pics for the website.

It was great! Nice to meet local K5er's. I might even be able to go to the slab on Sunday, if I can convince my dad to let me[IMG].

Any club plans or future meetings arranged? I came by around 8:30, saw 4 K5's in the parking lot, and walked around the place but really had no way to recognize anyone so I went to eat. Came back by around 10:30 and it didn't look like anyone was left. I couldn't get there any sooner, D@##!%! I'll try to be on time for the next one...

Damn, I am going to have to get those CK5 t-shirts made up, that would have helped in this situation. [IMG]

That would've been perfect! Actually, I just read the original thread and it looks like I might have been able to identify a few folks if I would've checked here earlier today. Was stuck in meetings all day and didn't get my usual fix of CO.K5 time [IMG]! I guess I payed the price...

I think it was a blast, even though I was the only one that was Blazerless. You could say that we all have Steve to thank for this, since we all meet here. Thanks, Steve!! Funny though, I couldn't get anyone to play me for beers. Oh well, I had a blast, as well as my girlfriend. And I am sorry to all of the CK5'ers here, as I meant to take my camera, but I forgot all about it. DOH!!!!!! I could have posted some pics for all to see us at our 1st meeting, well maybe next time. Hey guys make sure you all take plenty of pics for us too see. As soon as I get my Nova running again, I'll start working on the Blazer. Later all, - Steve

Rocko,
I have a navy/silver two-tone 89' with a 4" lift and 35x14.50x15 Micky T's and live off of Sam Bass road. I'm headed out in the morning with some friends for a Harley ride and won't make it back in time Sunday to go to the Slab. I'll try and catch up with y'all on the next get together. Have fun!...

Re: How\'d it go in Austin?

Well just to let everyone know that's going tomorrow to the slab.. My blazer is fine.. I worked out all the little things that were wrong with it.
So..we're so on for tomorrow.
Jason, I emailed you my address.. my house isn't hard to find at all.. Just look for all the Blazer's in the yard !!! lol .
As of yesterday, the flood gates have been closed near the slab.. so don't think it'll be a problem wheelin.
If it is.. we'll find a place to get dirty. Looks as though we have some bad weather headed our way tonight.
See you all tomorrow..
Cell phone number is on my profile.. adios muchachos !!!
