I don't know what that is, but banana spiders in FL are bigger than that.

don't the markings on the back of that one look like an alien face?

I have seen that kind before. When I grew up on a farm in Auburn I would shoot thoes things with my BB gun. They were mostly in the blackberry bushes around the property. Have no idea what they are called. I put one on my lil sister once and it didn't bite her so probly harmless... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Ya' beat me too it. We had a lot of these around when I was a kid also, they grow quite a bit larger than what is in the pic. We used to shoot them with our bb guns too. It's possible that we exterminated them because I haven't seen them around for quite a while.

or as we call it, a writing spider. when I was a kid, my cousins (those mean sh!ts) told me that if you bothered the web, the spider would write your name in it and then come at night to kill you, they would mess with it and then tell me that it was my name. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif it was just to scare me, but nonetheless, it worked, I HATE THOSE f#CKERS!!!!!!!!!!! they give me the creeps, well, all spiders do /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Nice to see you don;t go for the kill, spiders are good people, they kill flies, and flies are not good people

thats a pretty freaky looking spider, the scariest thing is when you feel somethin crawling on you shoulder while your sitting on the couch and you look over and there is a teranchula sitting there, talk about screaming like a girl. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
