    How\'s this for luck?

My friend has always had bad luck with rigs.

    But this is getting rediculous.
I trade him a running driving truck. He replaces a valve, but we knew it needed one. Then he ends up replacing all the gaskets. Then he puts a set of 33's on it and a wheel falls off on the way home. Then the motor overheats and cracks the heads about the same time the tranny starts acting up.

Then his wife's Cherokee has the injectors go out and they give it back to the car lot.

He has an S-10 pickup that a guy was going to trade him a '78 Chevy 4x4 truck for. The S-10 caught fire and burned the wiring harness, but he was able to stop it before it burned all the way, but still the deal was off.

Worked on the S-10 and traded it for an Escort, which he traded for an '86 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd pickup with a new 4.3 Vortech motor. It needed a front clip, so he got a perfect front clip I had from me and we put it on last Friday. He got the truck all painted one color, looking real straight and running good. Saturday it catches fire and burns to the ground. The only thing salvagable was the tailgate.

    This is making me depressed...

Having a warranty and full coverage insurance would be ideal for him... but they cant afford anything like that.

I'm afraid of selling him a truck now. He's gotten a couple from me before, and they've had problems... but now, I'm worried about there not being anything left once he'd get one from me.

damn. sounds like he needs my old Mustang II. I couldn't kill that thing. it caught on fire, wrecked, bashed, 4 wheeled...everything. given, the windshield wipers and the rear brakes didn't work, but as long as you kept dumping oil and trans fluid in it, you were good.

My grandfather had a friend like that. He finally went out and bought a brand new Ford van. A few days later he took it through the automatic car wash and the wash machine broke loose and squashed his new van. I am dead serious! What are the chances! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
