I created a site in front page and put it on the web through www.hostserve.com
The site is www.MATPA.org. It is just thrown up there for now (even the email address is wrong.....shoud be Balise@MATPA.org instead of Balise@MATP.org). My question is how to I remove a page from the domain. I can update and change a page (i.e. index.html), but if I want to pull a page off the server (i.e. delete it), how do I do that????

    Any help would be appreciated

If you can't delete it, change it.

create a blank document and call it index.htm and update the existing one.

OK, I'm a dreamweaver user but let me see if I can walk you through it.
    1. make a folder on your computer call it something like 'matpa'
    2. Open frontpage, click file, OPEN WEB... Direct the open window to the MATPA folder on your computer. It should say frontpage needs to add things to this folder to make hyperlinks, blau blau blau.... click OK.
    3. File, New Page...
    4. Type 'this is the opening page for MATPA.org, please check back later'
    5. File, Save As, index (you should be in the MATPA folder still)
Now you should have a folder list that shows index.html next to the page you designed. Right click index.html and hit publish.( publish ) Or go to File, Publish Web, and complete the info for your site (i.e. the web address, login, password, host directories, etc.)
    Hope this helps.

Do you have ftp access to the site?
Your host should have given you the login info for ftp access.
ftp://[ftp sitename], login if/when prompted, find z file, delete it.

Or, go to a command prompt, type "FTP" and hit enter
then type thefollowing commands and hit enter after each:
    open [ftp sitename]
    user
[username when prompted] [password when prompted]
"ls" or "dir" to get a list of files in the folder
    delete [filename]

If you go command line, you may or may not have to do some directory navigation, which can be a little confusing in ftp, since the prompt never changes. Personally, I prefer command-line over gui (ftp programs). Command line gives you more control, gui just looks perty and gives you some basic funkshunality.

I'm sure that's just vague enough to confuse anyone! Ask if so!

Try logging in here: ftp://www.MATPA.org/ , find it, and delete it.

I use WS_FTP most of the time. I've been using it for over 5 years now and prefer it to anything else.
