Well it was bound to happen; I blew a hub in the ice (actually going from ice to pavement). It's been so long since I've worked on a Blazer, I forgot which type of snap ring is inside the hub, inside or outside? This is for an '88. The stock auto hubs are history and I'm gonna put a set of Warn Preimum hubs on tonite. I just need to see if I need to get a new set of plyars (sp). TIA

The one you can use pliers on is an outer ring. It clips over the end of the axle. There's also an inner ring, just inside the wheel hub. I just use a small screwdriver to pry that one out.
