Today my hubby won a signed Brett Favre football jersey from the local NAPA. It's framed and has the Certificate of Authenticity. Pretty cool. It is tempting to sell it for truck parts, but for now it will remain boxed and we hope to put it in our basement family room (if we ever get around to putting in a family room down there!). At any rate, that was quite a surprise. He's told it is worth like $480. I don't think anything that we own is worth $480, except maybe our trucks!

I'm not a Favre or Packer fan, but tell your husband that I will give him $50 for it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

He laughed and said, we'll hold onto it, being that they'll win the Superbowl this year. It will be a bigger collector's item then /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Kewl!!! My brother's boss asked him the other day if he'd like Playoff tickets to the Eagles vs. The Packers in Philly, for FREE!! I have my fingers and toes crossed!! I've never had a chance to see them play in person. It would be the ultimate esp since my brother is a Philly fan! I guess I will have to tone it down and I can't wear my cheesehead in Philly. The fans there are rabid and have a tendancy for unleashing the wrath on innocent rival fans. I got some Green Bay Packer underwear for Christmas, so as long as I have the lucky undies on, they'll win!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

No, Gannon is not the best...just lucky that he is breaking records. He also has been playing for how long now? /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

Luck....and an offensive line where the lightest guy weighs in at 325 lbs. Hey, it's taken a long time for him to reach his prime /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

That is even cooler than the jersey /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif One time my hubby won a pair of skybox tickets from his work. He was manager at the time (auto parts) and his **ckhead assistant would not work for him that weekend. We didn't go. I think he should have told the guy to work that weekend or else! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif Anyways, one of these years we'll get to a game. It's about 3 hours to the stadium from here.
