Will military hummer tires fit on any 16.5 rim or do you need hummer wheels?

I thought hummers had 37" tires, and those are 36"...just curious.

Earlier hummers had 36" Goodyear RT Bias Ply tires while the later ones that started showing up in about 93 while I was in the Army had the 37" Goodyear MT Radials.
