Humming t case ?

    my t case is huuming in 4lo does that mean it needs new fluid if so what kind and how do i replace it?

    Either a NP208 or a NP241 dont know but its a stock for an 88 blazer

    standard trans fluid, drain plug you unscrew at the borrom facing the rear, fill is on the same side towards the middle/top.

    check the level with the top hole,

    just so you know, mine whines some as well, i figure it's just the gear reduction going on in there, especially when you get to rollin at alittle higher speed than it really wants to:p:

    similar to the whine that happens in a standard trans vehicle when in reverse.

    yea thats the noise it makes. Just like u said wen i go faster it gets louder

    btw thanks for the help i will drain and refill tommrow

    every truck with a 208/ 241 had made this noise, as far as i know its perfectly normal...

    my 208 makes no noise at all :D :p:
