not sure if i spelled hybreed correctly. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

anyhow, is there one available to fit a 1410 to a 1310(12 bolt)??

My brother got a 14ff yoke that uses a 1410 or somethinglarger than a 1350. He found this out after getting some bad vibes on his drive train. checked it out and found the driveline moved side to side on the ujoint caps.

There is not a 1410 to 1310 that I know of. You could probably find sombody here that would trade their 1350 for your 1410 and call it good. The difference in 1410 to 1350 is angle on the joint itself (1410 allows more), they are of equal strength however.

so what you want is a 1350 yoke on the driveshaft for a conversion? i have a driveshaft with a 1350 yoke/slip yoke from my 1986 k10 long bed 4 spd/208.. it has a dent in it and vibrates pretty bad but the yokes are good.. i use a 348 precision joint for the 1350 to 12 bolt..

My brother has the 348 in there. when he got it i thougt it was the 1350. I guess I was wrong. anyone know if there is a 1350-1410 hybreed ujoing. he doen't want to change his diveline yet cause he's changing his tcase. he'll have to live with it for a bit longer.

call napa and tell them what truck you have and what rear end, and they should be able to cross the 2 into a hybrid joint.. if all else fails, take both stock joints, for the rear end and one for the driveshaft, and go to napa and match up parts, it may take 2 different ujoints being bought to make it work..

There is no such thing as a hybrid joint that uses a 1410 AFAIK. There are for 1350, 1330, 1310, and Saginaw S44 for sure, but if there is a conversion joint involving 1410, Neapco doesn't make it AFIAK.

tim... what kind of yoke is on the back of an 84 chevrolet 1/2 ton with a 700r4?? i think its 1410.. and on chevy4wd's.. we used the 448 conversion joint but with the stock caps from the original ujoint (driveshaft side) on the axle yoke.. IIRC.. i may be wrong though.. it happens a lot..but i do know we had to "build" a ujoint to work.. and its held up fine..
