Since the 700r4 is supposed to be basically the same as a turbo 350. Has any one ever heard or tried, to take the 1st gear out of the 700 and put it in a 350. Curious if it is possible. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The 700R4 & TH-350 are totally different. Internal components do not interchange. The aftermarket does offer a 2.75 low for the TH-350 though for more low end.

TCI makes a low gear planetary but it costs about $400. Not worth it for just a .20 lower ratio in my opinion. They also make one for the TH400 with the 2.75 ratio and it is cheaper than the one for the 350.
