  2. I hope you still have your old U-joint. If you do, do this: Take it out and keep it together. Go to NAPA and have them measure the cap size and the width of it, then if the 447 fit on the 14 bolt FF end which I wouldn't know why it wouldn't, have it measured too. Whallaa they can look it up in there magical little book and find a match. They did that to find mine, even though it is the popular 447 !! I hope this helps and that they can help you out.

Your driveshat yoke really ought to be 1310. I don't know what else it could be. The 1310/1350 ujoint was too big on the 1310 side? Are you sure they didn't give you a 1330/1350 ujoint, that would make sense then with the 1330 side being too big for the 1310 yoke on your driveshat.

Alright, I just went through this same prob on my 78! The large caps on the 447 fit the 14ff but not the driveshaft. I tried a 448 next. It had the right size caps for both the 14ff and the driveshaft but it used the inner c-clips where my drive shaft used the outer snaprings. The third and finall try was #348. It had the right size caps and was shorter on the driveshaft side so that it could use the outer snap rings! I hope that helps! Let us know!

I also had the same problem as baldbandit. The 447 fit the 14-bolt, but not my shaft, so I tried the 348 and it fit great. Im not sure, but I think the guy at NAPA said the 348 is a 1330 to 1350, but Im not sure.
