With all the searching I have done I found most guys use the 1.5" ram and there is a 2" ram out there. Is this just for space reasons I can get a 3" ram for next to nothing. Also what stroke do you need I saw 8" stroke 4"s either direction is typically what everyone is using. Having enough fluid is not a problem I'm using a remote reservoir from a van. Is there a link for how to modify your power steering pump for higher output. Thanks for your help, Ryan

On the WTO page there is an article on how to modify your PS pump.
I use a 1.5" ram with an 8" stroke and it is ideal.
The 3" ram would be VERY slow and I think that is a bad idea.

    Hey Ryan,
I have the WTO 1.5" setup and have yet to bind it where it wouldn't turn. The 1.5" is quick enough for the street and good on the trail. The 3" would be overkill. Your pump couldn't keep up with the that large of a ram and probably wouldn't be streetable (it would turn very slow). I am happy with the 1.5", imo.

SAVAGE1 has the 1.75" ram on his DD rig that is also the GM of the month. He likes it.

That is what I figured just didn't want to believe it since I can get such a deal (5$) on the 3" that is the smallest the place has. Oh well back to the drawing board. Thanks for the replies. Ryan
