When i welded the frame back on with the brace kits i probably had the worst frame crack in the world lol and even with the frame and bolt on back there is still alittle give should i opt out for the hydro assist and do you guys think that would make a big diff?

Did you weld the crack up before plating the frame? Hydro assist will take a large deal of the stress out of the frame, since the ram pushes on the axle housing itself to make the wheels turn. However, if you have both the weld on and bolt on brace but still get movement at the steering box, you may stil have a crack in there somewhere that you'll want to fix.
