    As the title says...

I'm swapping a 6.2 in my Jimmy and the only thing I didn't get was the hydro-boost.

Rene, what are you doing with the SBC once its pulled? Is it still good and strong enough to install in my '82 K30? I need a good SBC to get this truck on the road. Just can't find anything around here in my parts. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

My 350 is a partial trade on the 6.2. Quite honestly the 350 was starting to show it's age which was why I was keeping an eye out for another motor. It smokes for a while when cold and the oil pressure isn't what it should be anymore. It does still pull hard though...

I can't believe you would have that hard a time finding a sbc near you /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif Doesn't everyone have a spare 350 in the backyard?

Around here, all the GM guys drive their 350's to its death. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif And no one ever gets rid of the SBC's, either. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
If there ever is a 350 up for sale, its usually priced too high. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Not too many around here are into the BBC's though. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif That leaves more for me, but I really have my heart set on a SBC for this '82 K30. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

    LOL. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

No, they're not that high. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif D60's fetch a pretty penny, but the 350's around here are like $500-$800, as-is. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

How far are you willing to drive for a 350?

And do you have any long blocks that need rebuilding? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm still trying to find out exactly what they're worth.

Doctor 4x4 has one and I've made an offer, just not sure if it's a very fair offer./forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
