Hydro Boost ?

    What are all the advantages of going with hydro boost brakes? The pro's and con's?

    If I'm not mistaken, but probably am, Hydro-Boost was used on the diesels because of lack of vaccumm. Stick with the vaccumm assist.

    Well, you got the diesel part correct. [​IMG]

    They were also used on C and K30 trucks.

    IMO, the hydro is better because you are using fluid to activate the brakes and steering. No hassles with vacuum set ups, etc. Hydros can handle more pressure than the vacuum set ups.

    and dont forget you can run a wild cam in your engine too with hydro-boost!

    I'm real happy with my hydroboost. I contemplated swapping to vaccuum when I did the gas motor, but glad I kept it.
