Will hydro clutch parts (master cyl, reservoir, pressure hose, and clutch pedals) off of an 88 chevy work on a 79? I know the body styles are different, but what about the parts?
    Thanks

I don't see why not, would be custom work to mount it all, might be better off making some other pedal setup.

I'd have to say that at least the master cylinder is different. S-10 setups are also pretty similar, but since the pedal to firewall difference seems to have changed between the S-10 and our trucks, I'd imagine the '88+ full size body also changed that dimension.

FWIW the aftermarket master cylinder I bought has an adjustable pushrod. I have a feeling* this is so the same piece can be used on an S-10 or other similar application) and my truck, but didn't check it out further. Factory ones I've seen are not adjustable.
