it seems I am leaking PS fluid out of where the hydroboost mates into the Master Cylinder- there's a little indent, and it seems to be leaking out of there.

Is this a common failure? is there a seal kit, or just replace it?Also how hard is it to replace?

im out on the road, so if anyone has any ideas, please email me at patrick_wang@yahoo.com

Yes, it is very common for hydroboosters to leak there. The one on my '01 2500HD leaked there at about 15,000 miles. I think you have to replace the whole hydrobooster, I have never heard of anyone just replacing the seal. Prepare for sticker shock.
