I got a call from Four Wheeler.
They told me I made the top ten for the 2001 TTC challenge.
I told them about the mods and now they are going to have a meeting to discuss whether they will allow the new truck to compete

    AAAArrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I think we all figured that would happen...why didn't you just paint the truck white and tell them it shrunk from all the mud??
    Congrats anyhow!!!

    Yeah, I know

But they did let the mule in 2 years ago . he entered as a Bronco and competed as a side step.

    I'm hoping.

I thought they were going to notify everyone on the 15th? Congradualations, I voted for you. 44" Boggers and lots of horsepower is what it takes to win the TTC. Goodluck!

    Thanks for the thought guys.
They haven't turned me down yet. I hope to know by tomorrow and I will post what they say.

The diff is basicalyt the bod ,12" suspension instead of 9 and 10" body lift instead of 3

The rest is the same,of course for all the adjustments that needed to be made to get the body to fit.
Actually the front clip od the baby blazer will be extended an extra 12" to fit the big block.

Man, I really want to go.

BTW, want to thank everyone who voted for the knight :)

I voted for ya [IMG] wish it was still a K5 and not an S10 though. But its still a damn cool truck.

Hey any idea who else made it? Hopefully none of those damn jeep fools did.

Congratulations!! I think a few emails from CK5'ers may help "sway" the judges... After all, the body isn't what wins the competition, the chassis and drivetrain (and driver!) is!!

On second thought, what is FW implying?? That you can't do any mods to your truck after you enter??? For those of you who never stop modifying, that would really suck! Kinda squashes the creativity they say they like to see...

The first time I read that I figured it was a typo, but now that I see it again I'm doubting that theory. You have a 10 inch body lift and a 12 inch suspension lift for a total of 22 inches of lift? Is that right? Just curious (and pretty impressed),
    -Thanks,
    Aaron

I hope things work out for you. It would be a shame if they disqualified you over a technicality. It is pretty cool that a CK5 member is even there. You have a bunch rooting for you. I don't think that they know how many subscribers (CK5ers) they might be ticking off. Good luck.

Just spent half an hour sitting in the truck feeling the gears. The placement of the stick shift was so made to measure.
It felt so good just to sit in it.
I cannot wait to test it out.

Still trying to figure out how hooked you can become to the wheeling thing.

    Yes total 22" lift
