    I can\'t afford Line-X!

I went to my friendly neighborhood Line-X shop on Friday, and they wanted $535 to Line-X my Shortbed. That is not going to happen even though I know Line-X is great stuff. I need to "Line-X" my bed and the interiors of my 2 Chevys. Isn't there a do-it-yourself compound available other than the cheap Kragen rubberized undercoating or the apparently discontimued Herculiner? I have heard of Armorthane, but can't find their ad. Any suggestions? Is Rhino Lining cheaper? bigerik.coloradoK5.com

Went by Sam's today and they had herculiner kits for $79.00.
I havent used this product but have heard its pretty good.
(I havent heard anything about herculiner going off the market)

There are lots of DIY linners you just have to find one you like. Duplicolor and Plisti-kote are two of the cheaper ones.

i would try to work something out with the guy. See if he will let u do all the prep work involved and just have him spray it!
I got the whole exterrior of my truck done for $450. I did all the sanding and stripped the truck before i brought it in. The guy even let me mask everything off in his shop to cut down on the labor charges. Its worth a shot!!!

I HERCULINED THE BACK OF MY DODGE SHORT BED AND IT TURNED OUT PRETTY NICE.IF YOU TALK TO SOME OF THE GUYS AT A LINEX SHOP THEY MIGHT LET YOU DO THE PREP WORK TO SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY. AND I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT HERCULINER GOING OFF THE MARKET EITHER.
