I have not been getting a good sleep at all.
I have a terrible pillow that is too soft and doesn't have any sponge anymore (if that makes sense). I went to buy a pillow this weekend but had a hard time deciding which pillow to get. There are a lot of them. What type should I buy. I like mine kind of hard but not too hard. What thread count should I get. I need to get one today. What do you all recommend? I need to get one night's good sleep.

I just bought a new pair of pillows, because they were on sale. I used to be picky, but apparently I get used to whatever I shove under my head. :dunno:

I used to be able to use whatever I put under my head but that no longer cuts it.

Thaks fellas I am very serious about this pillow question.

    I am a stomach sleeper.

I tried one of them memory foam pillows for a while. My memory didn't get any better, and I slept like crap.

x2. You can give someone whiplash if you hit them in the face with one though.

I don't like down pillows either, there's not enough support.

I personally enjoy boob pillows. Nothing says good sleep like a boob.

    What is GTD boggerless?

I ended up buying a pillow with 340 thread count. The pillow sucks.

Are you sure the pillow is the reason your not sleeping? Could be a number of things. Anxiety, bad mattresses, lack of sex, too much alcohol before bed, too much chili., etc..

    Soooo

Get some new mattresses, drink just enough to take your mind off work/school whatever, get laid, and then give your new pillows a try. You might be surprised.:D

Seriously, I was having trouble sleeping a while back, so we went out and bought the first new set of mattresses I've ever owned. Simmons pillowtop something or anothers. I sleep much better now.

    chalet2506,
I have sex like a rabbit. I am the energizer bunny without the batteries. No really everything else in my life is balanced right now. I really think it's the pillows because my neck hurts when I wake up. I always end up trying to fix the pillow where I can double it up.

I use a combo of pillows I bought at Sears. One is a king size down feather pillow. One is a pillow for side sleepers. Between the 2 I get good rest.
It might look a little funny, but when I go to buy a pillow, I pick one and bear hug it into my chest and see what it feels like on my head. I leave the plastic on. You will know if its a good one for you, or not, instantly.

I will try that next time. I always try to put my head on it and see how it feels. I just can't seem to find a semi-hard one.
