    Sort of related-

Tonight I drove 2 hours to my daughters school to watch her perform in her 2nd grade christmas play. You should have seen her eyes light up when she saw me there. She started waving and telling her friends that her dad was there. And her mother told her I wouldn't be there:D.

quick tip for those with gf's.

If you will be apart for a while, take her to build-a-bear and make a bear with her. Its like $16. and totally worth it.

My gf sleeps with hers whenever she cant' sleep with me.

Its kinda goofy when you are there, cause its setup for kids.....but my gf loved it, and shes not normally into that kind of stuff.

The thing that gets expensive is all the clothes and accessories, just a bear stays under $20...and was worth way more.

At first i thought she just told me she slept with it, but every time she goes home she still mentions it, so im pretty sure it travels with her when i can't (and we're in our early 20's).

Haha, poor bear though, i think he sleeps on the floor when we fight:haha:
and when we're not fighting....shes at my place.

I understand completely. It's amazing how out of all the stuffed toys a kid has, they can pick one that can NOT be replaced by ANY other stuffed creature. My boy has a bear that he received pre-birth and that is the ONE. Oh, he has others, but that is the bear (its name is, Bear--on the same note we had a fish named, Fishy and a stuffed cat named, well, I think you get the picture).
We actually had a pretty serious dilemna on our hands the other night as my boy threw up. Now him throwing up is, unfortunately, not the dilemna. The dilemna was that Bear got caught in the way of Juniors mouth producing and the carpet receiving said vomit. We cleaned Junior and the carpet, but Bear wasn't going to bed until he had a bath, so we had to literally "sell" him on taking a different stuffed creature to bed. I think it waould have been easier to sell an eskimo a bag of ice.......

I told you the story about what little Vanessa said about the boat. That's probably the same kind of warm fuzzy you're having.

It feels good to be your kid's hero...........:rotfl: :rotfl:
