Well after 2 years I broke down and did the nasty.
yep I washed the K5. LOL
Unfreaking believeable how much mud was packed in the fenders.
    It came out in bricks.
Kinda funny since we have 2 wash bays at work with steam pressure washers with soap and I never use em.
I must have left 200 lbs of crap on the floor. LOL
Must be a guy thing to stand back and admire his handiwork after losing a few pounds. [IMG]

I always loved washing my old 77 C20 pickup. it had perfect factory paint on it, and retained its glossy finish right up to the end. I'd wash it, and people would ask me if I'd gotten a new paintjob on it. it was all good... the current trucks don't have good enough paint to really warrant washing anything more then the windows, so thats about all I do right now. if I ever paint the C20 burb, I'll most likely wash it to a shiney point more often, but there's really no effect for any effirt spent on cleaning it right now.

My truck isn't ugly, you have a skewed sense of beauty

if you leave all the mud on it will protect your truck from all the road salt this winter
