So when do I get a close-up? My spare is mounting on the roof (after I get the engine done and the rig comes back home). But lugging a 35 up to the top is a PITA. I was considering building one similar to yours using some old pinion bearings to help it rotate smoothly. When do I get looksee at yours?

Looks good. The hinge looks like a Rockstomper piece.

    Looks great!

Careful, you keep adding all of that cool hardware, you'll have to paint the truck!

    Good job!

The hinge is custom. [IMG]. The only thing that was bought was the latch...besides the metal. [IMG]

Boss...I'll get you a close up of the latch. It's a beefy sucker!

    Brian...I dunno...when's the next ck5 dinner/breakfast, etc? [IMG]

<font color=blue>That looks good. What size box tube was the carrier made from? How high is the center of the wheel mounting plate from the bottom of the carrier?
