Hello everyone I am not sure if you all remember me, a while back I was looking for a blazer, and I was trying to decide between two, one that was 7k and another than was $4900 w/o new engine or transmission, I got the $4900 one for $4750, I may have paid too much but I think it was worth it. I am soooooo happy. Below is a picture of it, I think it is pretty ugly right now, I am planning to paint it. I am also taken the running boards off, and taken those chrome rain guards off the windows, I don't think you can see it in the picture. I love this thing! I can't wait to take off the top once it stops raining here (I think it will be next week). I think this thing will look awesome when I get it painted too. On my list of stuff to do to it is new stereo, new speakers, bass tube, get my dad's 10 disc CD changer installed, tuffy center console, brush guard, air horn, light bar on top and a few other things. Well I just wanted to share the good news! There will be new pictures soon. Hey if someone has a blazer or a picture of one with gray/silver paint on it will you either post a picture here or send me one, that is how I am thinking about getting it painted but I want to see what it will look like.

    Nice K5

So, does it have an engine and tranny in it now??? Also I think the paint looks pretty nice as it is, do you really want to spend money to get new colors. Looks like a sweet ride.. Congrats.

It has an engine and tranny but it is the stock one, the 7k had a new tranny and rebuilt engine. The paint looks good on the side but on the top and hood it is peeling, so I want to get it painted, not too big on the gold either.

Good move not going with the 7k one. Yeah it had a rebuilt Tranny(he changed the pan) and Engine(he pulled it redid the pan gasket and repainted it). Anyway, how about grey with navy blue top and sides. My nieghbor has one and it looks good. I like my white Jimmy but I am sick of people calling it an OJ car.

    It's not a car and IT'S NOT A FORD

Nice truck! I don't have a pic but I saw a silver one for sale in FL. It looked awsome. I think that is the color that I'm going to get next.

What year is it? If it's an 89 I read somewhere GM started using a new paint scheme, this explains why the paint peels. On my 89 it peeled on the hood, roof and a little on the passenger door.
