I got a miller 175 mig welder need some help

    I got a miller 175 mig welder (220volt) today and it will run 100% co2 or run a 25% co2 75% argon what gas should I get and any option on renting or buying the tank

    I got some wire to .023 and .035 and extra tips

    Run the 75/25. I learned on a miller 250 and we ran the 75/25.

    I suggest C-25 (75% argon and 25% CO2).
    I'd buy the tank.

    Definately C25 for mild steel welding. I bought my tank.....I didn't even know you could rent. That's a great welder.
