Traded an old POS 3.8 Furd engine for it. If no one wants it on here, it'll go to scrap.

It is pretty cool though. :D

That's why I dig it, it's a freaking antique! :D The old dude who did my windshield saw the motor in the back of Knucklehead, and decided he wanted it, and wanted to get rid of the press, and voila! I don't think it runs, but he said he "un-froze" it. :dunno:

Man, what would shipping be on a beast like that? Prolly the only way to make it happen is if it could hitch a ride down here with someone.

Old doesn't mean SFA when it comes to stuff like that. That is a gear driven drill press which is vastly superior to the junk belt drive crap you see 90% of the time. A new gear drive drill press is usually $3K and up...

Also, look at the beefy vertical post on that thing. You know it's going to be very rigid...which = more accurate.

That's only a half step down from a radial drill IMO. As for being old, hell the press brake I use almost every day was built in the late 40's, and is clutch/centrifugal and is probably one of the most reliable tools we have. The stuff it'll bend just keeps surprising me.
