I got an amp, need help wiring

    Ok, i got my amp, it is a alpine mrv 1507, it is going to be powering 2 12" dvc alpine type r subs. How would i wire these?? Thanks

    ok i am asumming the subs are 4 ohm per voice coil... if so then i would wire it parrell on each sub into each side of the amp... ie... pos to pos and neg to neg then run those to the pos side and neg side of the amp...
    You will put each side of the amp at a 2 ohm load stereo.. that will give you the most power out of amp and it will still be in the spec line of the amp...
    if you a better explenation let me know..

    i think i might need to explain a little better... you are goin to run parrell on each sub... take the positives of the sub and run them together and do the same to the negitives..and run those to one side of the amp.. then do the same thing to the other sub...
