Well, I finally got my airframe and power-plant licences. I graduated from a Part 147 school last Thursday, took my written testes Monday, and my oral and practicals today. I should have gotten this done years ago, but in the past no one ever asked avionics techs to have an A&P, now they all seem to. All they ever wanted before was an FCC licence, which stupid of course, because it is only required by law when transmitting outside the US. I glad its over now I can get ready for my vacation.

    Hey, this me now:

Thank goodness there is no spelling test. Now I have to go edit. Then again, why bother, it's already quoted. Spell check is obviously not enough for me I need grammar check, too.

Congratulations! I am a commercial pilot w/ Instrument, Multi, and CFI ratings, and I can relate to the feeling of relief you have right now. My CFI was the worst one with 2 written tests and the practical exam was pretty much an all day thing. Glad I don't have to go through that any more. Again, congratulations.

Congratulations! I've got 1 3/4 terms left in school, I graduate Dec. 1, and I plan on taking my tests in early January. I can't wait to be done!

I think I'm gonna get a couple of those - one for the toolbox, one for the garage...
