Jiminey Cricket and I tried going over Engineer Pass today. We did not make it. I found out the hard way that one of my front hubs is not locking in. Even so, it took over 2 feet of snow to stop the old Blazer! Anyhow, it was a good road trip, wish more of you locals could have showed up. Tomorrow its on to Hartman Rocks ORV, just for grins.

We'll have to plan something around January. I love snow bashing!

I was wondering how it went. It looks like you were still on the "easy" Lake City side :haha: At least you didn't have to worry about "tourists" with rental Jeeps :D

Thanks for letting me know you were in town. Will your rig be ready by Jan? If so, we could plan another get together and go play in the snow that will be here.

    Gunnison wheeling pics.

Ha-ha-ha, your so funny I forgot to laugh.

Here are 20 or so pictures I picked out of the 80 or so I took. Starts from meeting 70jimmy and moves on to Engineer pass and then the expansive Hartman's Park area. Got our little truck poser pics in too. Notice have big Mike's dog Cirrus is, I thought I'd be eaten before the weekend was out.

By the way Mike is one of those outstanding people you rarely ever get to meet. While you guys were huggin your pillows I was being treated like a king with a big ass steak and potato dinner. Oh yea! :saweet: If the rest of you have the chance to meet him I'd highly recommend it. He's got a nice warm living room with some big 'ol comfy easy chairs. :thumb: Thanks for a great weekend Mike! :woot:

    Here's the pics. :D

Last two. The last pic is what happens when the cold friggin wind in Gunnison permanently freezes one side of your brain and the resulting headache pops your eye out.

Hmmm, that's the first pic.

Don't guess you be meeting 70jimmy again. Or if you do, you might be meeting 70jimmy's brass knuckles first. :haha:

Dwayne's a nice guy, I'm sure he'll have sympathy and just use a lead pipe. :D

If Cirrus had her way those positions would be reversed. :rotfl:
