Since the Mountain Explorers site disappeared, and they say the name is still in use, this is my temporary replacement site for now. Eventually I'll start over and have the Mountain Explorers site up again.

Anyone have any suggestions on who I should go through or how I should rebuild the site in a way it can't accidentally get deleted?

Well... Uhmm... you could pay about $50 a year to have it officially hosted plus about $8 a year to have a proper URL

    That's what I'm doing for www.unitseven.com

Any recommendations on who to go through? Or does it even matter?

I liked our free site just fine... up until it vanished.

    I have mine through godaddy.com

You get 5 Gigs of storage and 250 Gigs of transfer for about $40 a year, or about $4 a month.

Setting up your domain is about $3 if you buy a hosting package with it
