Kinda looks like a Bradford Pear, not 100% sure, the leaves look a little big, but if it is then thats a prime example of why they are such crappy trees. Weak wooded junk..

Yeah I didnt think the bark or leaves looked right for a Bradford but I dont see cottonwoods very often so I didnt even think of that species

    S-10 Blazer Corn-vertable...

I'd cut the top off, make a cage, and call it a convertible!....better than junking it,just because the roof got caved in..:D ..its the right time of the year for a convertible!...

This post reminds me of a friend, who wanted a VW Rabbit diesel in the worst way--one day,I heard a lady at the parts store asking a co-worker if anyone there would be interested in a VW Jetta diesel--I spoke up,and gave her my friends phone #....he picked it up the next day,FREE!!..she was tired of it not starting on cold winter days, and nearly got fired for being late so often..just signed the title over to him,and said "good luck!"...

Two days later,a "microburst" thunderstorm with 90+mph gusts came roaring thru--and a huge oak tree in his yard was snapped off about 10 feet from its base, and it landed directly on the Jetta!:doah: ..it was so flat,it even got pressed into the ground about 6"!..and the rear axles snapped right off too...but the front of the car wasn't damaged too badly, and we were able to salvage the motor--transaxle busted in half though...he had no insurance either..:doah:

I got sideswiped hard in an S-10 when I was in school and that's exactly wht I did. tore off the door, took off the other and cleaned all of the glass out. I was good to go until inspection time came rolling around...

Sorry to hear the ins. won't cover it.

That really sucks dude. If ya got a welder, you can alwayys salvage the top off another one and weld it on the old one. Alot of work, but pretty cheap. Very sorry to hear about that, I know what its like to loose a loved one.

And lets be honest, it wasn't a "real" Blazer anyway, so that should make it easier on you. :D:D:D

Yep I see a topless 4 seater with one tons and turn the area behind the rear seat into a pickup type bed, some 40's or larger. A little tube work and bang. You are there. A friend did this to a cherokee and made a great wheeler.
