i just busted off an oil fitting in the block. the one that feeds the pressure sender. i was taking it off to put in a mechanical one. i spent all day getting the new gauge to fit neatly in my dash and i just broke it off at the other end[IMG][IMG] i finally got it out. its 9:30, dark cold, and i need to get to work in the morning but i cant get the new fitting in.

im not looking for sympathy i just had to vent[IMG]

I don't quite understand what happened.......Did you break the threaded brass fitting off of the sending unit body? I'm not trying ot be rude, but it should have been really easy to turn it out of the block with a par of vice grips.......

Or am I not getting the picture???[IMG]

nah, he busted it off flush with the block. No problem, i think he was just frustrated after a long day of frustration. I just got back from his place and we got the busted jobber out with an EZ-out, popped the new mechanical sender in (with some trouble,( that som-bitch is small) and hooked it up, put the dash back together, and it all works very well. Suffice to say Ryan is in much better spirits now.
