I just charged $78.60 on my Credit card to place a parts ad.

I hope I sell something this weekend. I need to pay off some bills, and have like under $20 in my wallet right now. I owe $200 for some head work, a $50 balance on another deal, and other money elsewhere.

For those of you who have run classified ads before, what was your longest? This one has 298 words.

i can't remember how many words; but when i got out of the army in colorado springs i "tried" to downsize and took out an ad in the thrifty nickel to sell some stuff instead of moving it. it used about half one column of print for the ad (does that make sense), i had people calling thinking i was one of the shops in town going out of business :D

Notice how classified ad company's always seem to be a "nickel". My ad is in the Exchange and the Nickel's Worth. We also have the Nickel Nik, and I've seen the Little Nickel, Big Nickel, Nickel Saver and Nickel this or that...

I have people who always call me thinking I'm a wrecking yard, or have some big inventory for all kinds of cars.
