I just love it when something truly moving happens

I picked up a Suzanne Vega CD at a second hand store for a couple of bucks last night. I have a few cd's of her later stuff, this CD is her first one. So I throw in it on the way home tonight, and it hits me like a ton of bricks. "The Queen and the Soldier". Holy crap. Truly great lyrics. I was blown away. Perfect voice. Perfect music. There's very few things in life that "move me" these days, therefore, I feel it nessesary to share my sub-epiphany.

I like Tom's Diner, but that's the only song I've heard by her. I went and looked for "The Queen and the Soldier"... but it isn't working out too well right now.

I'd post the lyrics, but it would ruin it, really. The song is so great the first time. Just go get the CD or pay the $0.99 to download that song. Way well worth it.
