I just got home from meeting Sparky87K5 (Bill). What a great guy! He gave me a set of Honda bucket seats and mount platform (awesome shape!!![IMG]) and a NV 4500 in need of a rebuild...free!

I really appreciate it Bill! Another piece falls into place.
Nothing is 100% free though, I wrecked my back loading it into my truck with Bill.[IMG] Hopefully just a pulled muscle and nothing worse. I must have twisted or something while lifting.

Anyways, just thought I'd say THANKS BILL!!![IMG]

It's too bad I didn't get to see his K5...BBC, NV4500, one ton running gear with 4.56's and a brandy new interior from a 98 Tahoe...

Bill is a great guy though!

Anyone have any online refernce manual type links for the NV4500?[IMG]

Bill gave me a pair of bucket seat from a Honda as well...they're right behind me.[IMG]

You should see the seat mount 'roll cage' he made for them. It's all made from tubing and flat bar and mounts the seats while using the factory seat mount holes in the floor![IMG]

    Bill...I dub thee, "Mr Overkill"!!![IMG]

So Honda seat eh? So gonna go for the Folger's can next Rene [IMG] LOL j/k... that sound like a nice setup... beats the torn up, old, non adjustable stock seats of the earlier rigs anyday! [IMG]

Actually the seats i have are grey buckets from a '90 in near perfect shape. I am a GM guy through and through but building great seats was never the General's strong suit.

At any rate my 74 needs an interior so I guess the grey '90 buckets will find a new home there...[IMG]

Speaking of seats!!! My dad was up visiting this weekend and told me that this car he has in the shop that was listed as totalled and if the guy doesn't come back for the extra's he had on it he will have a set of Recaro seats. HEHE, he said he'll givem to me if this all comes about. [IMG]

Uhh, before you spend too many nights drinking beer and popping Advil, read the fine print on the Advil bottle. That stuff mixes with alcohol to create a substance that will ruin your kidneys. [IMG]

BTW, great deal on the 4500! [IMG]

There is something about a man that you just have to love - that he would give his well-being, just to find a NV4500 a new happy home! (FOR FREE! You're still a bastard for finding that one Rene!)

You know - I am of course jealous as hell! I would have thrown out my back too! And after throwing out the first time, I would have tried my damndest to throw another FREE NV4500 in there too had he offered it! [IMG][IMG]
