Biggest downside to the short box is you only get a 29 gallon fuel tank. The longbed gets a 38. ?????

    wow
my graduation present wasnt nearly as cool...
i got to choose between getting my own apartment, or paying my parents rent...
    no joke
the present was that they'd only make me pay half the going rate of an apartment...
i certainly learned the value of a dollar real quick!

Thats one of the best things I think a parent can do. Im really glad my parents taught me the same thing. They gave me a car, but I had to work for the insurance and the other half of the payements. If I wasnt doing good in school no job for me which ment no car eather. If I lived under thier roof I had to go to school or pay rent. Its great to give your kids things but teaching your kid the value of a dollor or make them work a little for things like that is much more valuable then a 40K truck.

What NOT to do as a parent....

Buy your sister a 67 Camero for her 16th, just to let her wrap it around a telephone pole, and wait until I graduate from college to give me a lame 82 Mustang /forums/images/icons/mad.gif
