Wow, I've got this wierd feeling now that you get when you drop down alot of money and you're the only one who thinks you've done the right thing. As some of you may heard thanks to my constant b*tching about it, my tailgate and bed are toast. So...I went down to the dealer and said the hell with and got every piece I can think of. No scrowning through the junkyard or newspapers. I have a tax exempt number and got the jobber price and still racked up this total. I still have to go and get my super expensive synthetic PPG paint. Anybody else get this wierd feeling after shelling out the $$$.

Always! I'm always second guessing myself wondering if I did the right thing or if I could have saved money/time if I'd only known about X. Probably comes from the fact that 9 times out of 10 when I do something like that, the PERFECT choice becomes available to me within 24 hours and 1/2 the cost. Oh well, sometimes you just gotta reach out and grab it.

    Good luck with your project.

Man, I'm all about just shelling out the cash for the best. I've spent some money on shitty parts only to regret not buying the best the first time.

You mean the heart pounding in the pit of your stomach, sweaty palms, light headedness, room spinning feeling? Get used to it. I'm sure your blazer loves you for it [IMG] At least you don't have to lug that heavy wallet around anymore [IMG]

Yeah I have that feeling everytime I look at my rig. On the lighter side. I dropped $5200 on my Styer AUG. And I cant use that everyday like the rig.

I'd rather see someone drop $1500 on repairs, parts and/or improvements to a K5 then what a lot of people spend their money on. You are in good company here at CK5, most of us fully understand where you're coming from. You "invested" your money well and can soon reap the benifits of it.

I'm at 10th and Plum....10 miles from nowhere, and Plum out in the sticks....Stuck?...Hell no..I still got some gas left..

Recently dropped 5500 on body and paint, only to go ridin in the mud. Hey it doesn't hurt to look good if you can. What the heck you only live once. Better than 40 000 on a new one which usually only goes as far as grocery store.
