I've got an Kyosho (sp) Outlaw 1/10 stadium truck my wife bought me about 12 years ago. The remotes been in storage for the last 3 years because the truck had a broken shock mount. I found the remote 3 or 4 months ago and brought it home and finaly fixed the truck /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif. Now I cant find the remote /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

    I think I'll go drink now /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

That sucks. Remotes have really dropped in price over the last decade. I bought my first Magnum Junior like 15 years ago and they are around half the price for about the same thing these days. I use the Magnum on my RC10 Worlds Car and some generac thing for by RC10 GT gas car.

Funny you should bring it up...

I lost my Futaba 2ch pistol-grip for my Clodbuster back in '95 when I moved from an apartment to base housing in SoCal. Couldn't find the damn thing no matter where I looked. Gave up on the case after we bought our house in PA in '99 and finally had ALL of our stuff in the same place, and I still couldn't find it.
    ***FAST-FORWARD***
Well, this past summer I decided to put the Clod back on the dirt and ended up buying a new radio for it (another Futaba 2ch pistol, same features but half the 1991 price /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif).
Last week while digging through some of her clothes that had been in storage boxes for a while, my wife says to me "Do you need this, or can I throw it away?"

In her hands was my old Futaba radio....
