My craftsman is fine. The top kept trying to move around though so I tacked it with the mig and its all good.

People bad mouth HF but I have nothing but great things to say about their big commercial box 399 and 299.... I bought two sets when I had 20 percent off coupons (bring the entire top and bottom box to 480.00),, (currently they are only sending out 15 percent off coupons) There inst another box out there of this size, gauge, and quality (powedercoated/aluminum hardware/chrome pull handles) for the price

I also noticed they are now selling a SS box.. I looked at it ..its perfectly acceptable and a great value,,, Costco still rules the roost on SS boxes I believe.. and if I were to buy stainless Iwould get their big 899 box,, its a monster... of course if you ever see the one I look at it would have my drool all over it... maybe that quailifies it for a mark down

If you were close I have some commercial homak boxes I would make you a deal on.. unfortunately they are big, very heavy and too costly to ship...

The drawers on the right are decieving as they are not just a drawer.

When you open the drawer, there is a shallow drawer on top and the part under that drawer is a divided section where you can store larger tools,,spray cans,,pullers,,etc,,

it's big enough to store my dewalt drill in it's case on one side and my snap on air chisel in it's case on the other side.

The box also has cylinder type locks on the side drawers that can be locked seperately from the main box...

The box is powercoated inside and out (dark grey ) I call it black,,,
It has ball bearing slides,,release latches on every drawer,,,double slides on the larger drawers,,ball bearing casters,,and comes with all of the drawer liner material.

The bottom box weighs in at 640 lbs and holds almost 4000 lbs

At 870 bucks,:D ,it sure beats the hell out of S/O's box at about 4300...:eek1:

HF sells that same box set as Northern just under the US General name and only in their red. It is the same quality as the smaller version already mentioned but just bigger.

i think it'd be hysterical if someone broke that out on the trail, all serious-like... :haha:

How about a nice pegboard style setup over the bench?

Sometimes it's a pretty viable option for a good percentage of stuff you use.. wont cover everything, but can get a bunch orginized...

Unfortunately, no magnets... :( :haha: But hey, there's always stickers... :wink1:

yeah it is, a lot of positive reviews on it, just got it thursday night, only thing is, im so used to polishing the boxes every morning, and the camo box just doesnt need it, i think thats part of the appeal, the picture doesnt do it justice, when i get a better picture, ill post it, the camo pattern is excellent and flawless
