If any one has them I would like to know the: compression ratio, combustion chamber size, The Cam spec ie: lift, duration
and valve size.. for a 87 tbi Engine out of Truck. I have looked almost every where for this info and could not find it so if anyone has it don't be afraid to share /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

    87 TBI 350.
    8.5:1 CR
Lobe lift: Int=.2600 ex=.2733 No mention of duration though.

That was about all I could find.

    Most likely 76cc chambers w/ 1.94 1.50 valves.

58&64cc were mostly used on 305s. For a 64cc and an 8.5 cr the pistons would need some serious dish to them. It MAY have a 64cc comb. chamber but I am fairly sure its 76cc. Could be wrong tho. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

I seem to recall 76 cc as well, and having done head gaskets on an 88 TBI 350 I can say for certain the pistons are not massively dished. IIRC they were near enough to flat tops... I'd guess they're 1.94's with the 76 cc chambers, but I can't verify that anywhere.

I was pretty sure it was. The motor that came w/ PI had 64s and the pistons had a good size dish to them. I dont know squat about the motor, it was a reman and turned out to be a 68-9 40 over 327 block w/ a 350 crank. Still have it in storage w/ the rest of my builder motors.
