I was running an errand and saw/passed the Turle V ford on the interstate yesterday. they were headed east on I-10, I assume to south Florida. Kinda neat, I sort of half heartedly read the stories but never expected to see it cruising down the road.

BTW - the camper thingy on the back is HUGE! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif When I first approached it from behind I thought it was one of those Unimog bus things.

I know they used to write for Fourwheeler years ago, but now that mag is focusing on the Earthroamer. Are the Turtle folks still being published??

Now that you say that I don't think I've seen any write ups about their trip, I only remember a little bit about the truck build (F550 I think).

I've seen some articles they have written for "Trailer Life" magazine in the last few months.
