Maybe someone here has experienced this also. After I shut down the engine in my Blazer, I smell gas fumes at the back end of the truck (where the tank is at). I've looked everywhere for a leak, but I can't see any fuel anywhere and the tank doesn't show any signs of rust. The previous owner said that he had recently replaced the fuel pump, so it may not be installed right(?). I'm going to park this thing until I find this leak and I'm going to drop the tank to see if that'll shed some light on things. I'm hoping someone here can give me some pointers concerning what else to look for before I take the time too drop the tank. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It could be a broken tank vent line that goes to your evaporative canister.........
