I think we should start doing event coverage likethe ARCA events etc.. What do you think? We have enough viewers that would be intrested I would think, would have to hire some volunteers to take pics and then maybe a short write up in exchange for CK5 stuff maybe a little money, dunno. With our viewer base we should have someone to cover any event in the country I would think.

Yes!! Hey In Peterson's Mag there is a section for telling them about events or runs that you/we could submit to them for coverage? I'm sure they would be interested in CK5's Moab2002 Fullsize Attack or whatever you decided to call it!

Sounds like we would end up with better coverage in light of the recent TTC.

Can you print up some badges we can stick in our hats?

Great Idea!! Location is key though....If I attended, I can take photos and do articles or whatever unless you already have someone in mind. Sounds like a great idea though.

yup...his compound is in Woody Creek. Just don't go up to the electric fence that is not marked. last time someone did he got in a shoot-out with Fed. agents. Kinda crazy, but i would be too after all he has done.
I am a PR/Mass Com major so i can write decently. i just need my truck to run for more that 2 weeks at a time for me[IMG]

Haha, that has always been the plan, I could really do alot with CK5 if my stupid day job didn't keep getting in the way.

Hey Zakk, do you have a digital camera? ooh, and you live in Cali where most of the events are. [IMG]

    Steve,

This is an idea that is long past due!! I did one trail writeup for a club run I did a few years ago, it was fun. I will volunteer to be the So Cal "reporter"! I have a story waiting to be completed that I had always meant to send in to Petersons for their "Getting There" section, just need to find that elusive thing called "time"!! [IMG] We try to make at least one run a month here in SoCal, so we should have plenty of opportunities! My brother has a digital camera (and I have one on my Christmas list!), and according to friends and family I can write decent, so I will give it a try!

If I ever get my truck up to snuff I could cover Paragon. One of the big wigs from there lives about 20 minutes from me.

I think this is a great idea. So, If I cover small events like K5 runs, do I get free stuff? Just kidding, being a part of this site is enough for me. I usually go to Mudstock, Springfield Jamboree, and several Superlift sponsored events around the area, so this will be a great way to talk about what we saw. Stay tuned for a K5 event near you...

Thank's guys, just to clarify, I am talking about major events like the ARCA series, the Superlift stuff, not earnie and his two drunken friends driving through a field (thats called a trail report). [IMG]
