    I wouldn't worry too much on a 14 or a 60, and IMO a 10 or a 44 is doomed w/42s anyway.

a 10 is doomed with pretty much any tire,

What size axles are you talking about?

I have no personal experience here but, the number I hear for D60 pinions becoming a problem are when you cross the upper 5s or into the 6s. 5.13s I've never heard people complain about. The C14 can't go any deeper anyway and they hold up fine with the 5.13s from everything I've heard or seen. I'll likely end up with 5.13s before it is over with.

Yes. You should be fine with 5.13s and 14/D60. I wouldn't go taller than 4.56 in a D44 or 10.

is pinion strength really that big of a concern? I know those are some big tires and some low gears which is hard as hell on parts but I dont think ive ever seen a broken pinion shaft or gear. If I have- it was due to something else breaking or causing it to break like a ring gear bolt coming loose, etc
