Saw Bob Seger on Friday night.
I think we were the youngest people there. I never seen sleeping people at a concert before.
The old man still puts on a decent show though.

"Roll Me Away" (with Alto Reed playing a rare 1920's bass saxophone almost as tall as he is)
"Trying to Live My Life Without You" -- a nice Otis Clay Memphis blues, Bob did it on "Nine Tonight."
"Wreck This Heart" from the new CD, "Face the Promise"
    "Main Street"
    "Old Time Rock and Roll"
"Wait for Me," from "Face the Promise"
"Face the Promise," the title song
"No Matter Who You Are" from "Face the Promise"
    "Simplicity" from "Face the Promise"
    "Betty Lou's Getting Out Tonight"
    "We've Got Tonight"
    "Turn the Page
    "Traveling Man"
    "Beautiful Loser"
    "Between"
"You Never Can Tell" (the Chuck Berry song about the teenage wedding between Pierre and the mademoiselle)
"The Answer's in the Question" ("Face the Promise" duet with his backup singer Laura Creamer, on the album it's with Patty Loveless)
    "Sightseeing"
    "Sunspot Baby"
    "Horizontal Bop"
    "Katmandu"
    "Night Moves"
    "Hollywood Nights"
    "Against the Wind"
    "Rock and Roll Never Forgets"

It was pretty close to this. Lot's of old stuff, a little of the new.

    sounds like a good concert!..

I've never seen Bob Seegar live, though he does play not far away from here just about every summer..I grew up with many of his tunes--Turn The Page,Night Moves, Against The Wind,Old Time Rock And Roll, and many others..he's quite a talent!.

I consider him more country/folk than rock--his song "Shame On The Moon"was written by Rodney Crowell, one of country musics best songwriters..many artists that were "rock" in the 70's were closer to country than rock, including the Eagles and Creedence Clearwater Revival..

I am hoping to hear his new song with Patty Loveless on country radio--maybe since they like to play artists that are not exactly "country",they'll give that song some airplay..maybe next year if I get the chance I'll go see him live!..
